Description
Morphology
The opening hanging in the cliff gives access to an elongated shaft 7 metres deep. The base is formed by a chamber of 9X4 metres, spacious and covered with blocks (the result of the lower digging out). At the lowest point we find a block that creates a -3 metre drop, the base of which is obstructed by medium-sized blocks; among them about 8 metres more can be sounded.
Hydrology
Among the blocks about 8 metres more can be sounded, down to a resounding water level, which could be a sump.
Other details
Observations: A cavity that is dangerous to explore; inside there are veritable block retaining dams in precarious balance, located on the floor of the upper chamber. The blocks at the end of the shaft are propped against each other. Furthermore, the cavity can flood in a matter of seconds, while several minutes are required to get through the narrow exit.
History
The cavity had been visited by the GEB in 1965. At the end of 1988, after a long period of inactivity of the cavity, the SIES proceeded to widen the opening by artificial means, carrying out a long and arduous digging out at the base of the shaft. The rains that fell at the end of that year halted the digging out work.
Until October 1988 the penetrable drop was -13 metres; the remaining 8 metres down to -20 metres were the result of sounding down to the supposed sump. We do not know whether since then anyone has ventured again into its exploration.
