Location

We will leave the village of Gaià along the BV-4401 road and, after passing the 11.6 km point, we will find a turn-off to the left that will take us to the Vall de Vilaramó farmhouse. We will pass by its side and continue along the track; about 500 m further on we will find the very visible cave beneath the path we had been following.

Description

Morphology

The cave has a length of 37 m by about 8 m deep and a maximum height of 7 m.

Hydrology

A large surface of the cave is enclosed by a wall that allows the infiltration waters to be retained, forming a deposit that supplied water for irrigation.

History
