A rock shelter in Olost, in the Lluçanès, 38 m long, 5 m deep and 4.80 m high at maximum, located on the hydrographic right of the rec de la Torre.

Location

We will set out from the village of Olost along the BV-4405 road; just outside the village we find a forest track that passes beside a monumental holm oak, known as the alzina Sallent. We will continue to a farmhouse known as the Casanova del Pela, where we will leave the car to continue on foot and descend to the rec de la Torre, where we will find the rock shelter.

Description

Morphology

The rock shelter has dimensions of 38 m in length by 5 m in depth and a maximum height of 4.80 m.

Hydrology

The rock shelter is located a few metres away and in parallel, on the hydrographic right of the rec de la Torre.

Progression

From the Casanova del Pela one continues on foot to descend to the rec de la Torre, where the rock shelter is found.
