Location

Access can be gained from the track that begins at the Vall de Camprodon campsite (before reaching Camprodon), passes below the hamlet of Creixenturri and climbs up to the coll del Sitjar. 50 metres before reaching the masia del Sitjar, on the right of the path and half a metre above it, lies the cavity. Approximate coordinates.

Description

Morphology

The entrance of 0.75x0.38 metres gives access to a shaft that at -3 metres widens to form a small chamber. The base of the shaft is covered with detritus from the exterior. The total depth is 7.40 metres.

History

The only known data are those of the exploration carried out by the ERE-AEC on 7 November 1976. After more than 40 years without any further news, we do not know the current state of the cavity due to its proximity to the masia del Sitjar, since we have the experience of the nearby cavity of la Tomba del Sitjar, which was filled with rubbish. As for the name of the cavity, we suspect it is related to the model of vehicle with which they travelled.
