Location

At the Roca de Senyús, hanging about 10 metres from the edge of the cliff. The flight of the jackdaws is a good sign for finding it.

The most practical access is to follow the track that leads from the coll de Llívia towards the Boumort; when this crosses the barranc dels Cóms de Carreu, on a very tight left-hand bend, we will leave the vehicle and follow the track (closed to vehicles) that climbs parallel to the ravine until reaching a metal water tank. From here we will climb up to the Pla de Calama; at the end of this is the Roca de Senyús.

Approximate coordinates that should be checked, since it is likely that the cavity belongs to the municipality of Cabó, instead of that of Coll de Nargó where it has been placed since the first exploration.

Description

Morphology

Formed by a single shaft 18 metres deep, at the bottom of which a descending ramp begins that divides in two, reaching the NW side of the plan at the maximum depth of -25 metres.

History

The first exploration was carried out in 1968 by members of the SAS de Centre Gimnàstic Barcelonès.
