The Serra de Milany - Vidranès is a unit of the Prepirineu, with sandstone and limestone ranges between Osona, the Ripollès and the Garrotxa, in the Serralada Transversal. It comprises 53 cavities: 18 pits and 35 caves, with a total passage of 3168 m and a maximum depth of 52 m.
Among the cavities most notable for passage length are les Correjades, with 1835 m, the Bufador Nº8 de Beví, with 400 m, the Bufador Nº3 de Beví, with 120 m, the Avenc del Fang, with 72 m, and the Forat de Collfred, with 55 m. As for depth, the Bufador Nº8 de Beví reaches 52 m, followed by the Avenc del Fang, with 29 m, the Avenc del Puig Cubell, with 22 m, the Bufador Nº3 de Beví, with 18 m, and les Correjades, with 18 m.
The lithologies present are marls (23), sandstones (24), conglomerates (2) and travertines (4).
