Cova del Llop

It is located in the Mont-roig range. To reach it, go to the village of Vilanova de la Sal and continue towards the railway halt; turn right towards the ermita de Montalegre. Once at the junction leading to the ermita, continue along the track on the right towards the coll de Porta; once past it, continue to the end of the track where there is a forest refuge. From there, go back until you find the first torrent on the right of the track, and follow it until it is cut by the crag, at which point you will find a gap that allows you to descend to a ledge of the crag, which you follow eastwards until reaching the limit of the torrent. From here, descend among blocks to a new ledge where the Cova del Llop Petit is found, which is a series of 8 impenetrable springs. Once past these, descend through the middle of the torrent for about 30 metres on a steep slope until reaching a new ledge where the Cova del Llop is found.
