Cova del Grau

It is located in the Mont-roig range, in the municipality of Les Avellanes i Santa Linya. To get there you must go to the village of Vilanova de la Sal and continue towards the railway halt; we will turn right towards the hermitage of Montalegre. Once we have reached the crossroads that leads to the hermitage, we will continue along the track on the right towards the coll de Porta; once past it and when we begin to descend the track along the north slope of Mont-roig, once past the first torrent, we will leave the track to continue descending along the ridge in a northerly direction towards the cliff above the Noguera Pallaresa, in order to seek the Grau, which is a natural pass that allows you to descend the cliff towards the river. The cave is found by descending about 40 metres below the start of the Grau.
