Location

To the S. of the Pla del Tro. About 50 metres from the Forat de la Vaca, following a path towards the E, very close to it, is the entrance of the A-4, and about 50 metres further on, that of the A-6.

Description

Morphology

It is a cavity set in a main joint and a secondary one.

Through the higher entrance (A-6) one descends a first 7-metre pitch which links with another of 21 metres that cuts straight into the main joint. At its base and in a SE direction the fracture can be followed for 52 metres. A few metres from the base of the entrance pitch, on the right, a lateral fissure cuts in and descends to the point of maximum depth (level – 66).

Again at the foot of the entrance pitch and in the opposite direction, the floor rises slightly until reaching a narrow point that links with the section coming from the lower entrance (A-4).

History

In 1983 two members of the GE Badalona explore and survey the A-6, up to the point later called the junction, believing that the cavity ended there. On 21 May 1988, another team from the GE Badalona descends some pitches that had remained unexplored (A-4), reaching a very narrow point which, once passed, linked with the joint of the A-6.
