Location

At Boumort, in Abella de la Conca. From la Pobla de Segur take the road that climbs to Sant Martí de Canals and Pessonada; from there it becomes a forest track and continues towards Carreu and Bóixols. Past the path that climbs to Herba-savina and the small gorge of the riu de Carreu (Forat de l'Infern), a track (closed) branches off to the left towards the Casa Hortó and continues to the Casa del Pla del Tro. Between the two houses, on the left of a bend in the track and at one end of an old cultivated field, lies the cavity. Approximate coordinates and location with little precision.

Description

Morphology

A collapse cavity with a circular mouth. There are two small pits of 5 metres each, which give access to a N-S joint where the pit is structured and which ends up closing at both ends in narrow crawls.
