Location

Next to some steps (stairs) cut into the rock near the hermitage of Sant Onofre and in the direction of that of Santa Magdalena.

Description

Morphology

Entrance of 0.65 x 0.26 m that penetrates into a single shaft of 6 metres that widens, reaching 2.85 metres in diameter at its base.

Hydrology

At one end of the base an impenetrable fissure can be seen through which a current of warm air comes out and a murmur of water is heard.

History

Following the account of the more than questionable manuscript of P. Joana, a member of the EC Gràcia locates at the end of 1997 a tiny forat bufador. After many days of digging, they manage to force the passage and carry out the exploration of this small cavity on 15 February 1998.
