Description

Morphology

A single pit with an oval cross-section reaching 4.8 metres in depth.

History

The first reference we have is its exploration in 1965 by members of the SIRE-UEC Olesa de Montserrat, who named it Avenc del Ferro, upon observing some rust-coloured stains on its walls. In 1999 it was published as Pou de Vinyals.
