Characteristics

Location

From the village of Masroig we will follow the road that leads to the ermita de les Pinyeres, we will pass the barranc de la Vila and the Molí de ca la Verònica and 500 metres further on we will turn off onto the road on the right. We will leave this road after about a km to turn right onto a track that leads to the Molí de l'Antònia (it is a working wine-growing estate and permission must be asked to pass through and to leave the car where it does not get in the way).

From the mill we will walk back along the track and after about forty metres we will find a signposted path that goes to Bellmunt; we will soon see a high-voltage power line that we will follow for a while, we will climb a hill (elevation 230 m) where there is an electricity pylon. At this point we will leave the path to go and find a small path that descends steeply towards the barranc dels Molins. After descending the slope we will cross the little river and by a muddy ramp we climb up to continue along the path and, after about 250 metres we will turn off onto a wooded trail located on the right that climbs up a ravine (signposted with white marks). We will climb about a hundred metres and easily, beside the path, we find lo Bufador no. 1 and 14 metres higher up is lo Bufador no. 2.

Description

Morphology

On a slope we find a small entrance of 1 x 0.80 metres that drops us into a P-10.2. Descending the shaft, at 1.50 metres and in a NE direction we observe a window, as the 0.70 metre wide joint continues 5.80 metres further. A few metres further on and we find another window that opens into an adjacent shaft that follows the same direction as the joint. We continue descending the vertical until reaching a step and debris cones, for which we will have to descend 2.50 metres. We are in a comfortable gallery 1.80 metres wide and about 10 metres high. From here we will head SW along a small gallery 0.70 metres wide for about 4 metres. Then we will descend a step to climb again by a wedged block and finish the fissure 4 metres further on, at the base of the parallel shaft that we mentioned before. Returning to the base of the shaft, the gallery continues towards the NE for about twenty metres more with the same dimensions until its end.
