Location

From the village of Sora we will leave by the N side of carrer Major, the track turns left and we will follow it for 380 metres, here we will turn right onto the camí de Portabella, we will follow it for 840 metres and we will turn right onto a path suitable only for off-road vehicles, it reaches a point where these cannot pass either, we will follow this path for 1.4 km, at this point and on the right a small trail starts that leads to the remains of the castle of Boixader or Duacastella, we will follow the trail for 295 metres where we will find the cavity on the left side of the path.

Description

Morphology

The total drop is 3.5 metres and it has a length of 9.5 metres.

Progression

From the entrance a ramp leads to a small pit, on the other side of the pit the gallery continues a couple of metres further. The 2.4-metre pit leaves us in a short ramp full of leaves and stones.

History

Located and explored by Nil Hosta Ferrer and Tanit Sanmartin in July 2025.

The cavity shows signs of having been explored previously, since at the entrance there are some initials engraved in the rock that the passage of time has half erased (it could indicate ECO), inside we also find some woods and irons, we do not know for what purpose they were brought into the cavity. The cavity is not mentioned in any catalogue.
