Location

We will set out from the village of Sant Quirze de Besora along the BP-4654 road; on reaching km 1 we will turn off onto a paved track that leaves on our right, pass beside the house of the Ginestet and continue to an agricultural building. Here we will leave the car, continue along an ascending track that leaves on our left and about 500 m further on we will find the rock shelter.

Description

Morphology

The rock shelter is semicircular in shape, with dimensions of 36 m in length by 6 m in depth and a maximum height of 7 m.

Other details

We also find a small chapel raised about 2 m above a sheet-metal guard rail that serves as its column; inside the small chapel there is an image of the Mare de Déu dels Munts and another of the Mare de Déu de Lourdes.
