Description
Morphology
Through a narrow mouth comes an abundant water outlet. A few metres along the narrow passage until reaching some pools full of water.
Hydrology
An abundant water outlet. Later a modest weir was built that bars the way and ensures the flow during the summer low-water period. They say that when the east wind blows a great flow gushes forth.
Progression
In 1992, Joan Pallarès comments that some years earlier they had penetrated a few metres along the narrow passage until reaching some pools full of water.
History
Known since time immemorial. There is a legend, not free of erotic connotations, that speaks of a maiden who came out of the spring and invited shepherds, lovers of nature, to enter with her into her lair and where they could contemplate true natural wonders.
