Location

On the right and right next to the track that goes from Sadernes towards the Pont de Valentí and Sant Aniol d'Aguja. Shortly after passing the Pont de Ferro and just after crossing the next bridge, which spans a tributary torrent of the Riera de Sant Aniol.

Description

Morphology

Through a gallery 1 m high one enters a passage where a stalagmitic formation narrows the way. Immediately afterwards the gallery gains a little height and becomes slightly wider. About 4 m from the entrance the passage rises, forming a subvertical gallery about 5 m long, which closes 3.5 m from the entry point.

Speleothems

A stalagmitic formation narrows the way. The subvertical gallery has a good deal of highly fossilised concretion.

History

It seems quite likely that the cavity was opened during the construction work on the track, and that was quite a few years ago. We have not been able to find any reference to this little cave, which seems strange enough given its location.
