Sea cave with a 17 m passage in Sant Feliu de Guíxols, at cala Maset, formed by a gallery with a sand ramp.

Location

At cala Maset, which is the first cove encountered coming from the beach of Sant Pol in a S direction. On the right-hand side of the beach (facing the sea) and next to number 1.

Description

Morphology

Formed by a gallery occupied by a sand ramp that rises about 2 metres in height difference. Halfway up the ramp, a narrow and short side gallery opens to its left.

History

The only reference we know of these cavities is the one given by members of the SIRE – UEC who explored and surveyed them in September 1997.
