Location

It is located in front of the monastery of Sant Pere de Casserres, next to the river Ter and above the cliff, and therefore belongs to the municipality of Santa Maria de Corcó and not to that of Tavertet as published in various speleological catalogues as well as the article published in Exploracions no. 2.

To reach it, follow the BV-5207 road from Santa Maria de Corcó to Tavertet; on reaching approximately kilometre 5.5, continue along a track in the direction of the Monner. From here we head to the Llobet, then follow a path in a southerly direction, which over about 500 metres of route will lead us to the cavity.

Description

Morphology

A gallery 2 metres wide by 3 metres high extends for 15 metres of passage maintaining the same section, ending in a short crawlway that totals a route of 17.5 metres.

Progression

No survey is available.

History

The only known data on this cavity are those provided by GE Mollet, which located and explored it in 1977.
