Characteristics

Location

From the T-310 road at the height of Pratdip, at kilometre 27.8 on the right-hand side of the road, the Camí del Canal turns off, which is the road heading towards Colldejou. We will follow the road for two kilometres and at the point where it makes a 90º turn to the left, we will continue straight along the track for about 260 metres to the ruined mas de l'Hereua, where we will park in a wide space on the left of the track. From here we will follow the GR in a N direction at first and after a few zig-zags of the path it continues in a NE direction; after covering 600 metres, we will find the cave on the right of the path, a metre or so above it. Five metres further on we will find the other two entrances in the same rock face, also above the path.

Description

Morphology

These are three small cavities located in the same rock face and separated by just over 5 metres of distance; they do not connect with each other, despite the small space in which they are found.

The easternmost entrance is a slightly ascending passage 12.6 metres long that ends filled with sediments.

The middle entrance is a narrow descending passage that ends filled with stones at 4.2 metres.

The entrance closest to the path has a length of 7.8 metres, forming a small chamber inside.

History

Cavity known locally and cited on the ICGC map, but which had never been catalogued speleologically.
