Characteristics

Location

The cave is located in Conca de Dalt. About 300 metres before reaching the village of Abella de la Conca, on the left, a track leads to can Xinco and cal Borrell. Shortly before reaching the private entrance of the latter, a turn-off appears on the right with a sign indicating towards Sant Corneli. You pass close by cal Borrell and continue about 200 metres further to a left-hand bend with a good esplanade where cars can be left. To the NE, a path climbs up until reaching the track that enters the gorge, and shortly after following it, on the right, a monolith rock appears (Pedra Ficada). We continue along the track for 700 metres where it widens into a track, we must continue climbing for 1 kilometre until reaching a flat area where on the left a track suitable for all-terrain vehicles reaches us and which comes from the point where we indicated to leave the vehicles. Once at the aforementioned junction where both tracks meet, on the left we see some cliffs; the cave is located on a rocky spur to the left of these cliffs. The cave lies astride the municipalities of Abella de la Conca, Isona i Conca d'Allà, and Conca de Dalt, belonging to the latter by a matter of metres.
