Location

In Alta Garrotxa (Albanyà). After the coll de Bassegoda and then the coll de Principi, at the N end of the Pla de la Bateria, following the track towards the Comella, continue to the second bend (from left to right) and about 10 metres below the track is the cavity. Approximate coordinates.

Description

Morphology

Consists of a single gallery divided into three sections that cross each other orthogonally. The general section is jointed. At the final section a small chamber is formed.

Speleothems

At the final section a small chamber is formed with the floor covered by flowstone.

Hydrology

Some short stretches remain flooded in the lower part.

History

The only information we have about this cave is that given by the members of the Agrupació Científico-Excursionista de Mataró who explored it in 1972.
