On the road from Noves de Segre to Taús and before reaching Bellpui, we find a track on the left that leads to a house and a few metres further down reaches the river; the track continues on the other side of the river, following its course. About a hundred metres after having crossed the river we will take an ascending path on the right-hand side. After half an hour of climbing in zigzag we will leave the path and cross a torrent to head towards some walls that lie to the south. To the east of the cave is the cova de l'Escala, which is visible from the road and the river, serving as a reference for its location before starting the ascent.
