Description
Morphology
The 4X2 entrance gives access to a meandering gallery with a general direction of N25E with sedimentary terraces at mid-height. After about a hundred metres it opens to the outside again.
Hydrology
The cavity is used intermittently by the course of the ravine; in the dry season the little water that flows through it filters about 400 metres before reaching the cave, reappearing again inside the cavity in its final stretch.
Other details
The cavity is full of all kinds of rubbish dragged along by the stream.
History
The ERE of the CEC explored it on 25 September 1970, based on information provided by Ernest Figuerola, who had visited it with the scouts of the A.E. Narcís Massó. The cave was also known by the name of en Femides; after making various enquiries it seems that the correct name is Famides.
