Location

East of the village of Espluga de Serra, in the upper area of the barranc de Torogó (it should be noted that today the ICGC calls this area barranc de l'Església). Below the western slope of the serra de Lleràs.

Description

Morphology

Entry is via a descending ramp that forms a small chamber, and at its end it rises again through an area full of concretions and blocks where, at some points, clearing was necessary, leading to a second, much smaller chamber and a narrow, short descending passage where the end point of the cavity is reached.

History

During the SIE explorations at Cova Cuberes, observing that the farthest galleries were located below the ridge of the serra and even passed over to the Ribagorça slope, several days of prospecting were devoted to locating possible cavities that might connect with cova Cuberes. Despite the effort, only this small cavity, explored in 1984, was found.
