Location

On the right slope of the Barranc de la Vall Closa de Verano. West of km 8 of the C-43 road from el Pinell de Brai to Gandesa. From this point we follow a path that will lead us to some panels that inform us about the civil war military camp of the vall Closa that was set up here.

We find the cave by following a trail that goes up the valley along the left of the torrent; after about 1500 m we will find the cave beneath a cliff on the left of the valley.

Description

Morphology

Through a small entrance one enters a single chamber of good dimensions. The entrance, about 70 cm high by 1.8 wide, gives access to a small room 8 m long, 7 m wide and 2.4 m high.

Speleothems

In the W sector, we find a small decorated gallery.

History

Certainly known since ancient times. Unpublished in speleological catalogues.
