Characteristics

Location

From Mont-ral we will follow the TV-7045 road towards la Mussara; on reaching kilometre 3, we will turn right towards the ruined farmhouse of the Cisterer. From here a path sets off first in a W direction, which soon continues towards the NW, then turns towards the SW and immediately afterwards towards the S. When the path turns again towards the W, we find a turn-off to the right that leads to the collet del Jaume. We will continue climbing in the direction of the Portell de la Cova de la Bruixa. From here we will follow the path that skirts the cliff in the direction of the portell de l'Abellera, passing below the Punta de Moliner. After covering 295 metres from the junction of the Portell de la Cova de la Bruixa, on the left of the path and at the foot of the cliff we will find the cave.

Description

Morphology

Small cave with the entrance fitted with a stone wall to use it as a shelter. It consists of a single gallery eleven metres long with an average height of a little more than one metre; only at one point is it possible to stand upright. At the end, a narrow crawlway makes continuation impossible.

History

A cavity for which we have found no reference, only some mention in some wikiloc route where it is confused with the cova del Be, which is located just below, at the base of the lower cliff.
