Large rock shelter on the cingles de l'Abellera, Mont-ral, shaped like a half-moon opened in dolomitic breccias, full of small conduits.

Characteristics

Location

Large rock shelter on the cingles de l'Abellera, Mont-ral. From Mont-ral we will follow the TV-7045 road towards la Mussara; on reaching kilometre 3, we will turn right towards the ruined mas del Cisterer. From here a path starts off heading W at first, and which soon continues towards the NW, then turns towards the SW and immediately afterwards towards the S. When the path turns again towards the W, we find a turn-off to the right that leads to the collet del Jaume. We will continue climbing up to the Portell de la Cova de la Bruixa; from here we will follow the path that skirts the cingle below the Punta de Moliner as far as the portell d'Abellera. We will go down the grau and at the base we will leave the path that leads to la Foradada, in order to continue in the opposite direction to the one we came from but now along the base of the cingle, along a faint trail that leads us in the direction of the surgència Poblet spring and the cova del Be. On reaching the height of these, instead of climbing up to the base of the cingle where they are found, we will follow the faint trail to go and look for the base of the cingle some 50 metres further on; following the cingle we will make our way to the Balma.
