Location

The rock shelter is located at the Solella de la Cavorca (Tavertet).

From the road from l'Esquirol to Tavertet (BV-5207), at km 5, on the right, we will continue along a dirt track that will take us to the Sobiranes farmhouse; here we will leave the cars and continue along the path that leads to Sant Miquel de Sorerols. Soon we will find a small path on the right that descends towards the torrent de Sobiranes; before reaching the streambed we will find the Cavorca 1 de les Baconeres. We must go down into the torrent and follow it upstream until we pass under some large stone blocks. A few metres further on we will find a small path on the left that will lead us to the Cavorca 2, which is located between the cliff and a large block that hides its access.
