Description

Morphology

Small rock shelter with a maximum depth of 9 metres.

Progression

To reach it we can use the same path that leads to the balmes de Currua and de la Quesis, and follow it in a NW direction, since a little further on we will already be able to make out the entrance beneath a cliff face towards the west. We will descend a little in elevation, crossing two tributary torrents of the rasa de Torrenteller, and approximately 200 metres further on we will find a small gully in a SE direction that is quite steep and will have to be descended, since the rock shelter lies directly beneath the crag.

History

Known since olden times, according to a local resident, it was used for making holm oak charcoal piles.
