Description

Morphology

A small balma, very well concealed and hidden by vegetation, it has a depth of 7 metres.

Progression

To reach it easily, it is best to leave the vehicle at the Cap del Pla, go down by the font Ferrera, continuing along the path that passes by the ermita de Sant Agustí d'Isanta, and continue descending to the house of Isanta, which is in ruins; below it we will find the path that descends to the Canalda stream, passing beside the cova de les Portes. Before reaching it, we will follow an abandoned path on the right, which will take us to the middle of the stream but further up and without water. We will continue ascending about 500 metres, until we see on the right a large wall of difficult access, where above we will see the balma del Tobogan under an overhang; we will have to ascend about 10 metres until we see a marly stratum inclined in the wall on the right, which we will climb alongside the wall among box trees and pines until we find the balma de la Cucafera.

History

The only known data are from the visit made by J. Bordetas and S. Codina (CE Solsonès) on 19-4-1997.
