Balma del Xerri

Balma de 5 metres de fons a Navés.

Navès • Solsonès5m0

A 5-metre-deep rock shelter in Navés, with remains of an oven and the walls of the house with corrals.

Characteristics

Location

By the C-462 road towards Solsona – la Llosa del Cavall, once we have reached the restored farmhouse of el Cavall with the adjoining church dedicated to Sant Pere, we will head towards a large esplanade located above the road; once we have crossed the usually dry rasa de Capdevila, we will go up along the forest track on the left. We will leave the track on the left and cross a wire fence. We will continue climbing and leave the track on the left at a bend, continuing higher up on the right in a slight climb above the rasa itself. The track ends and continues as a path along the right slope of the rasa as far as the same rasa de Capdevila. Once crossed, we will reach the rock shelter, located right beside the rasa, on the left slope, along an abandoned and somewhat overgrown path. The rock shelter is located about 100 metres from a waterfall in the same rasa, about 20 metres high.
