A 15-metre-deep pit in les Avellanes i Santa Linya, with a 0.50-metre entrance and a -14-metre shaft.

Characteristics

Location

On the hydrographic left bank of the barranc de la Conqueta, about 10 metres above the thalweg and a few metres S of a power line. Approximate coordinates, not very reliable.

Description

Morphology

A 0.50-metre-diameter entrance that had to be widened by removing several blocks to gain access; this gives access to a -14-metre-deep shaft developed along an E-W-trending joint. On one side of the base, a small step places us at -15 metres.

History

Explored by the ERE of the CEC (Ubach, Quintana, Recuero and Escolà), on 2 November 1968, based on information from N. Rucabado.
