From Mont-ral we will head W; once past the esplanade at the exit of the village, we find a junction, we will leave the path that climbs to La Foradada and the Pla de l'Avenc, and we will follow the path in a NW direction; once we have covered 75 metres, a path comes off from the left which we will follow in the direction of the Teix mil·lenari; this path is from time to time marked with cairns; we will find a first fork where we will continue to the right; a little further on we find a small trail on the left marked with cairns, it is necessary to follow them, since this path passes right by the base of the cliff of the Serrat de l'Avenc; we will reach a point where we have to climb a steep slope formed by an accumulation of blocks; from this point we will see on the right, less than twenty metres away, an enormous block, just below the path, and before reaching the block we will find the cavity.
