Location

From Ulldemolins we take the GR-65-5 heading towards the Cadolles Fondes; once past the Fraguerau gorge we follow the path that leads to Margalef and keep left towards the Ventadors. Soon it climbs in a steep ascent and before reaching the ridge one arrives at the Plana del Forn del Vidre (here other cavities explored by the GE Lleidatà in 1996 are found). One must continue westwards until finding a small plain full of shrubs where, amid a group of cracks and half hidden by the vegetation, the mouth of the pit is found. Approximate coordinates.

Description

Morphology

A short ramp marks the start of a 9 metre pit, at the base of which there is a small chamber full of large blocks. Climbing up over them one reaches another small room that presents a narrow joint which soon becomes impenetrable. Below the chamber of the entrance pit there is another gallery which is descended by “ramonage” and once at the bottom it also ends in an impenetrable joint.
