Location

Downstream of the Montsant river, shortly after passing the turn-off for the hanging bridge that leads to the chapel of Sant Bertomeu, we follow the path that branches off to the left and climbs along the edge of the Bisbe. Once we have reached the plateau, we will look for the highest point, where the mouth of the avenc dels Ventadors opens, surrounded by trees. From here we will cross the start of the head of a gully, descending to the left, shortly before the slope takes on a significant incline and about five minutes from the previous cavity, beneath a marfull we will find the cavity. Approximate coordinates.

Description

Morphology

A meagre blowing mouth that had to be cleared gives access to a narrow descending gallery, which between drops and narrows leads to the head of an 11-metre ramp-like pit, which leads to a wide gallery. Below the ramp a narrow fissure was cleared that connects with an unstable chamber where a small drop of -6 metres leads to the bottom of the fissure, with the floor full of debris.

Explored by the GE Lleidatà in February 2002.
