Location

From the les Arenes car park (road from Castellar del Vallès to Sant Llorenç Savall), follow the track that climbs up along the Riera Seca. On reaching the junction with the track coming from the Revolt Fondo, go back along this track towards the road, to find a track on the left that climbs to the Puig Rodó and follow it until, after a left-hand bend, the pit is found on the right-hand side of the track itself.

Description

Morphology

A circular opening half a metre in diameter leads to a shaft of about 5 metres formed by a joint that, a few metres from the opening, joins with another, forming a cross. The base is inclined towards the S., and after a few metres reaches the point of maximum depth (- 6 m.).

History

Opened by widening of the track and discovered by the woodcutter Josep Castellet, who notified members of the SIS – CET, who explored it at the end of October 1978.
