Characteristics

Location

In the westernmost sector of the Pla dels Ginebrons, in Sant Llorenç del Munt. From here one must follow a very faint path that runs along the ridge towards the Morral d'en Bens. After about 400 metres one must descend about 25 metres down the head of the Canal del Bosc, where the pit is found.

Access can be made from the Coll d'Estenalles and continue along the Carena del Pagès up to the height of the turn-off to the font Flàvia and find the other ridge on the right. It is also possible to do the route by climbing up from Can Bofí.

Very approximate coordinates.

Description

Morphology

The entrance, elongated, 5 x 0.5 metres and surrounded by ivy and ferns. On the E side the 3-metre small shaft can be descended by making use of the roots of a holm oak; the bottom widens slightly reaching almost one metre in width. Continuing on the flat, in a W direction, one reaches a window at ground level that, uncomfortably, leads by means of a one-metre drop to a small elongated and quite high chamber, interrupted in its middle by two large embedded blocks.
