Location

Going along the track that runs through the Fondo de la Troneda, about 350 metres after passing the corral of the same name, there is, on the right, a ravine that comes down from the Serra de la Guàrdia. You must go up its bed for about 15 metres and then climb the right-hand slope (on the left as you go up) for about 15 metres of elevation gain. There are two small holm oaks (2004) and between the two is the mouth of the pit.

Description

Morphology

Single shaft of 10 metres of elevation gain on a NNE – SSO joint.

History

Located by Carles Ortiz of the Begues Espeleo Club, who initially named it Avenc JUCA. In February 2004 he accompanied a group of GES veterans who surveyed it and discovered a graffito where the name and the initials GEP can be read with difficulty. When various former members of the Grup Espeleològic Pedraforca were consulted, they were unable to give any account of who could have made the first exploration or its date.
