Small 7 m deep pit in the Garraf (Olivella), discovered in 2003 during a prospection by members of the SES of the GE Ribes.

Location

Going along the road from Olivella towards La Plana Novella passing by Can Grau, we will pass the Corral Nou until we reach below the power line that crosses above the road; we will go up below the power line in an E direction.

We will reach a power pylon, and we will turn 90º to the right. Following this direction we will find the small entrance of the pit, with a spit.

Description

Morphology

A small entrance of 0.47x0.39 m gives access to a small 3 metre shaft of 1.87x1 metres in diameter, with a sloping base. In the lowest part we find a narrow section that leads us into a rather decorated small chamber of 1.40x0.90 metres.
