Location

From the parking area of l'Alzina del Sal·lari, take the path towards the Graons de Mura and coll de Boix. From here we continue along the camí de Puigdoure, which runs along the slope of the Sot de Matarrodona in the direction of l'Era dels Enrics; when the path crosses the slope, to follow the ridge line, we must leave it and continue up the ridge for about 80 metres through the middle of the forest until we find the pit on the right-hand side, somewhat hidden among the forest.

Description

Morphology

The entrance is rounded, revealing a gentle ramp that descends towards the interior; the passage measures about 2 metres wide by 1 metres high. At its bottom one can crawl in two directions; to the N we advance about 5 metres through a chamber that is not very wide (2.5 m), but a little more comfortable than on the S side, where access is only possible for about 3 metres of crawling passage.

Hydrology

We are faced with a cavity of the absorbing type, very well worked by water, very carefully rounding the access passage to the lower zone of the cavity where it has taken advantage of some sandstone strata that have determined the horizontal development of the cavity.

History

Located by hikers from Terrassa in early 1987 who, after a few months, mentioned it to Jaume Claverí (GES-CM Terrassa), who soon located and explored it.
