Location

Easy to locate, as it lies on the right-hand verge of the road that climbs from the Rat Penat development to Plana Novella, below Puig d'en Vinyals and a few metres before the car park of the Emili Sabaté pit. It is protected by a railing.

Description

Morphology

Small cavity that, through a 1 x 1.70 metre entrance, gives access to a descending ramp that, turning to the right, descends comfortably to the -5 m level.

History

Cavity known since the mid-1960s, but we assume that, due to its shallow depth, it had never been inventoried, as we have found no bibliographic reference. It used to be full of rubbish; today, and after several interventions, the pit remains free of litter.
