Location

On the S slope of the Mont-redon, in the N of Pratdip, in the area called Balcó de Mont-redon and in the upper part and right slope of a gully that descends towards the Dòvia.

The best access is by going through Llaberia and continuing to the Portell dels Collivassos (coll dels Colivassos according to the ICGC), from here follow the path that heads towards the Mont-redon; the cavity is 2 kilometres from the Portell, a half hour's walk.

Description

Morphology

By a short slope one enters a single shaft, of jointed form and with blocks wedged between the walls, which reaches 15 metres of depth. On both sides of the joint one can observe the continuation of the fissure, but its narrowness makes them impracticable.

History

The only references we have are those given by Alfred Montserrat, who located it on 14 April 1974, as a member of the GEP, and it was not explored until 7 March 1976, then as a member of the ERE – CEC.
