It can be reached from the hamlet of Aiguaviva del Montmell along a lost path that climbs in a NW direction, and it is also possible from Aiguaviva itself to follow the TV-2443 road towards Can Ferrer de la Cogullada and, before the houses of the Vall de Sant Marc, on the right, a track for off-road vehicles leads to Mas Solà; before reaching it there is a turn-off to the right that would take us to the ruins of the Torre de Milà and that continues on until it almost ends at the upper plain. It is advisable to leave the vehicle at a point where the track is wider, before starting the last climb that leads to the plain. From the plain at the end of the track, we come across some blue paint marks on the trees which, if followed, lead us to the different cavities of the Plana de la Torre, passing first by the avenc de la Plana de la Torre.
