A 27 m deep pothole in Balestui (Gerri de la Sal), formed by a NW-SE trending joint, explored and surveyed by members of ERE – AEC on 27 July 1976.

Description
Morphology
The cavity is formed by a NW-SE trending joint.
The entrance is by a ramp followed by a 5 metre pitch. At its base there is a debris cone that reaches 16 metres further down forming a ramp of 43º inclination, all of it covered by a large quantity of leaves from the vegetation surrounding the mouth. After 7 more metres of gallery covered by clastic materials, another ramp begins with a 37º inclination and 10 metres of length, ending in a final horizontal stretch 9 metres long also covered by blocks and which end up collapsing the fissure.
Progression
The entrance is by a ramp followed by a 5 metre pitch in which material must be rigged.
History
The only information available is that published by members of ERE – AEC who explored and surveyed it on 27 July 1976.
