Description
Morphology
The small entrance communicates with a room 8x2 metres, 2.5 metres above its base, where in the central part opens the entrance of a pit of -3 metres that is no more than the point of union with the lower part of the cavity, formed by a chamber 23 metres long by some 3 metres average width, separated by a debris cone at the base of the aforementioned pit.
From the SW wall emerge different points of contact with a NW-SE fissure, parallel to the previous one, although much more affected by the destabilisation and fall of large blocks, which form pits and false interior galleries.
History
Explored by J. Ferraté and other people from Reus before 1918 and surveyed in 1981 by the GES del CMB, it could be the cavity known in the area as els avencs de l'Escolà.
