On the road from Lekumberri to Uitzi, 500 metres before Uitzi, a cement track leaves on the left. We go up this track, which, after a couple of Km, ends at a farm. Leave the car before the farm, at the last curve to the right; walking southwest we cross a pasture and go through a wire-fence gap, skirting a large hill that we leave on our right. We cross another wire-fence gap and begin to enter the beech forest. From here we will make out a new wire fence, cone-shaped, that protects the AM 1 pit. Past AM 1, follow the fence in the direction of Gorriti. After about 200 metres we will see on our left a wire fence that surrounds the entrance of the AM2 pit. From here, we continue southwest and after crossing a wire fence we begin to descend the slope in the direction of the motorway. If we descend by the ravine, which starts from a hill, we soon come to a track made above the motorway. Take this track in a southeast direction and after about 250 metres we find that the track makes a small hollow and to the left of the track there are some trees. Go up the mountainside until we find a slab of limestone rock at whose upper edge the entrance of this pit opens.
