On the road from Lekumberri to Uitzi, 500 metres before Uitzi, a track leaves and, after a couple of km, ends at a farm. Leave the car before the farm, at the last curve to the right. From here walk southwest for about 500 metres, until crossing a wire fence that separates the municipal boundaries of Uitzi and Azpirotz, and from which point the mountain begins to descend in the direction of the motorway. From this point continue parallel to the fence in a southeast direction and at a distance of about 100 metres from it. After advancing about 400 metres in this direction, the mouth of the pit is reached.
