Località

On the western slope of Solanes hill, in Caldes de Montbui.

Along the BP-1241 road from Sant Feliu de Codines to Gallifa, a little before km. 15, an asphalted track branches off. Shortly after, it must be left and one continues, to the right, along the track leading to the Solanes farmhouse. About a hundred metres before reaching the aforementioned farmhouse, one must take, to the right, a descending track that leads to some vegetable plots, the place where this small cave is found.

Morfologia

Single gallery structured along the bedding plane. At the back there is a small pool of water.

Idrologia

A very local spring that fills an irrigation pond. The flow in spring is 5/6 litres/minute, dropping in summer to a small drip.

Storia

Located accidentally at the beginning of 2014 by members of the ERE–CEC while searching for the cova de Solanes. The farmer's wife informed them that it was called Font de l'Hort.
