Località

From km 8.5 of the C-15z road (between Vilafranca del Penedès and Vilanova i la Geltrú) a road leads to Viladellops. We will follow it for 500 metres until we find the little caves about 3 metres from the left edge of the road, right at the first bend.

Descrizione

Morfologia

Coveta nº 1 de Viladellops: it consists of two entrances that give access to two small parallel galleries of 4 metres in length each, which connect at two points. The right-hand gallery is 1 metre high at the beginning and continues on an upward slope, gradually losing height.

Coveta nº 2 de Viladellops: formed by a single gallery 0.5 metres high, 1 metre wide and 2.5 metres long, which widens slightly at the end.

Coveta nº 3 de Viladellops: a tiny rock shelter 1.8 metres high and 1.5 metres long.

Progressione

Coveta nº 1 de Viladellops: length: 8 metres. Vertical drop: + 1.80 metres.

Storia

Known since time immemorial.
